For 80 weeks people stayed in their cars and listened to the services on FM radio. When the weather was nice, many sat under the oak trees and enjoyed services outside. The people of Heritage endured, heat, cold, wind, rain, snow and even acorns while preparing the building for use as a church. It was a strange time but God keep our church intact through it all. ​
