Jeff and Donna Jones came to Columbus with a burden to begin a New Testament Baptist Church. Both were reached for Christ through the bus ministry years ago. Donna in Birmingham, AL. and Jeff  in IN.                      

    

While attending Tennessee Temple University, Jeff met Donna and were married. There at college, he answered the call to preach at the Highland Park Baptist Church, Dr. Lee Roberson was his pastor.

 

He has been the pastor of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hanover, IN, and started two Independent Baptist Churches. (He spent 14 years on the staff at Hanover, the last 7 as the pastor.) Their first church plant was in North Vernon, IN (Harvest Baptist Church) and the next was in the Auburn area of Alabama (Heritage Baptist Church).

The Jones' have two sons, Jeremy and Brett. Jeremy finished his B. S. in Criminal Justice at Pensacola Christian College in 2010. Jeremy and his wife Rachel serve the Lord at Heritage and he is a firefighter for the Columbus Fire Dept. They have two children, Miles and Bailey. Brett and his wife Kelsey live in Powell, TN. They work on staff at the Temple Baptist Church and The Crown College of the Bible. They have four children, Azlynn, Lincoln, Londyn, and Hollyn.
